Beltaine – Self-Led Stay

Come stay in the Bunkhouse for the Celtic Festival of Beltaine. The Bunkhouse is a self catering lodge in the heart of the community. It has a shared vegetarian kitchen and living area and 4 private single bedrooms.

Enjoy a nourishing self-directed stay, in a spiritually-focused settlement. You can join a variety of community activities such as meditation and singing and explore some of the green buildings and permaculture gardens. At your own pace, spend time in nature, dip in the ocean or walk in the woods.

At this time we are going to celebrate Beltaine, the Festival that marks the start of summer in the ancient Celtic calendar. It is a celebration of the return of the lengthening days and the strength of the sun, a fire festival associated with fertility and joy. Traditionally Maypole dances and bonfires are part of our community’s celebrations.

Food is not included, though the shared vegetarian kitchen has the facilities you’ll need to make your own meals.  Groceries can be bought from the Phoenix Shop (a community led enterprise) and the Phoenix Cafe is open daily between 10am – 4pm.
